June 24th was a big day of "firsts" for Taylor! Not only did she celebrate Grandpa's 57th birthday by both throwing up (for the first time) on him and peeing on him..... she also smiled at him! One of her first real smiles! She also hit a milestone today: She learned how to focus her gaze on an object. For the first time today I can tell she is really looking at my face or a toy in front of her and not merely starring off. She's also starting to make talking sounds when she looks at us. It's like it all came together in one day.... and for the first time since birth she wasn't awake from 10 pm to 2 am!
